Bio

Roger Taylor is entering his 3nd season of coaching and his 1st year as the Head coach for the Hawkeye Redtails. 

Taylor has over 30 years of bowling experience at many levels of competition, which includes bowling collegiately at Mount Mercy University. While attending Mount Mercy, Taylor earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Administration, as well as being a varsity player and being the first male player in program history to make an All Tournament Team at a Tier 1 event. Prior to Mount Mercy, Taylor received his Associates Degree at Kirkwood Community College, while being a volunteer assistant coach for Mount Mercy's bowling program.

Taylor has been coaching for more than 15 years and is a USBC Bronze certified coach. Taylor just completed his 3rd year coaching high school bowling for Isaac Newton Christian Academy located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Prior to this, Taylor coached at the high school level for 8 years in Marshalltown, Iowa, where he received 2 Conference Coach of the Year awards and helped his team earn multiple conference, regional and state titles.
