RedTail Dance Team Performs at Hockey Game

DES MOINES–The RedTail Dance Team was able to perform at an Iowa Wild Hockey game at Wells Fargo Arena for the first time on January 22, 2024. 

Abigail Kopriva, the head dance coach, said that it went very well for their first time performing on the ice. "This was such a fun experience for the girls and was our first time performing on the ice!"

After their performance, the dancers watched the game and even made it on camera. "We then stayed to watch the game after and some of the girls got on the big screen!" said Kopriva. 

With this being their first time on the ice, Kopriva and the rest of the dance team hope that it is not their last. "We hope to go back and perform again next year," said Kopriva.
