Female Athlete of the Week-Kenzie Eckles

RedTail Dance student-athlete Kenzie Eckles has been named Scheels Female Athlete of the Week for her help and performance at the Hawkeye Dance Camp and Showcase on Sunday, February 18th.

Kenzie is one of the co-captains of the RedTail Dance team and is a fantastic leader. She was a vital part in the success of the RedTail Dance Camp. The home showcase was a success consisting of 48 dancers ranging from preschool to 6th grade; making this the largest camp yet in program history. During the camp, the Kenzie and the RedTail Dance team taught the campers two routines for the girls to perform later that day at the showcase.

"Kenzie is always willing to come in and help girls practice outside of practice and help the coaches with items outside of practice," said head coach Abby Kopriva. "During practice, Kenzie always has so much energy and a positive attitude. We are so grateful to have Kenzie as one of our captains!"

Eckles is originally from Blue Earth, MN.
