Female Athlete of the Week-Kelsie Kuper

RedTail Dance student-athlete Kelsie Kuper has been named Scheels Female Athlete of the Week for her performance at The Dance Challenge in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Saturday, February 24th.

Kelsie was a big part of the success the RedTail Dance team had at The Dance Challenge in Cedar Rapids hosted by Kirkwood Community College. The dancers competed in three routines which consisted of jazz, hip-hop, and pom, and received first place for their performances. Kelsie is always determined and works hard.

"Kelsie is finishing her second year on the team and it will be so sad to see her leave and move on in the fall," said head coach Abby Kopriva. "What I love most about Kelsie is her determination and how hard she works. She shows up every single day. Not only does she work hard but she maintains a positive attitude as well. As a coach, it has been fun to see her grow as a dancer over the last two years and I can't wait to see her continue to do great things!"

Kuper is originally from Ackley, IA.
