Female Athlete of the Week-Deb Freese

RedTail Dance student-athlete Deb Freese has been named Scheels Female Athlete of the Week for her performance at the NCA & NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance National Championships in Daytona, Florida on April 10th-13th.

Deb played an integral role in the team's stellar performance at the NCA & NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance National Championship. The RedTails secured a well-deserved spot in the finals, claiming 4th place in the Junior College Pom Division and an impressive 9th place in the Junior College Hip Hop Division.

"Deb is finishing her second season on the team and she has done an amazing job this past year stepping up and being a leader," said head coach Abby Kopriva! "Deb has been very warm and welcoming to all the new dancers on the team. She not only will help answer questions throughout practice but always has new ideas. I appreciate all of Deb's hard work over the two years."

Freese is originally from Waverly.
