Rainbow 6 Siege Team Falls 0-2

The Hawkeye RedTail Esports team competed against the University of Texas at San Antonio on Friday, October 16. They fell to a 0-2 loss, but battled hard.

One of the major highlights was in round nine, game one Trey Berger (Rogue) got a double kill. This allowed the team to get back into the leaderboards to prepare for a comeback. Another major highlight was in round 10, game two when Nick Beier (Atlas) was able to win a one vs. one battle to secure the round 10 victory.

"We had a good run in the Collegiate R6 tournament, but our sights are now set on the NJCAAE tournament where we are first overall in the nation," said head coach Billy Howard.

The Rainbow 6 Siege Varsity Team will compete today against Carl Albert State College. The Academy team will compete against Gogebic College.
