RedTails Compete in House of Hope Charity Tournament

The Hawkeye RedTail Esports team competed in the House of Hope tournament where all of the proceeds went to the House of Hope. The RedTails placed second in League of Legends, first in Overwatch, and second in Rocket League. 

The RedTails competed in League of Legends, Overwatch, and Rocket League. There were a total of 15 teams competing in the tournament, the format was a double elimination bracket.

"The tournament was a great success overall and I'm glad we got to partner with the House of Hope and support such a great cause!" said head coach Billy Howard. "It was amazing seeing the support of other colleges in the state and outside of our region as well. It was truly a beacon of light in this unprecedented year."

The varsity overwatch, academy overwatch, and varsity rocket league will compete on Thursday, October 19 starting at 5:00 PM.
