Male Athlete of the Week-Ryder Fleming

RedTail Bowling student-athlete Ryder Fleming has been named Scheels Male Athlete of the Week for his performances at the NJCAA National Championships in Lansing, Michigan on March 1st-2nd.

Ryder was our highest finisher during our trip to our NJCAA Nationals last week in Lansing, Michigan. Ryder finished in 17th place out of 145 players from across the country. Ryder had scores of 192, 160, and 191 in doubles and 182, 175, and 150 in singles. He had 151, 176, and 189 in Team Set One and 189, 231, and 182 in Team Set Two for a grand total of 2168 and averaged 180.7 for his 12 games.

"Despite having a rough stretch of games in the middle, Ryder was able to power through the tough lane conditions and finish the last set of team games on a high note and post one of the highest sets of the tournament," said head coach Roger Taylor.

Fleming is originally from Cedar Rapids.
