Solon Senior Ethan Yahr Signs with Men's Golf

WATERLOO - The Hawkeye Community College men's golf team welcomes Solon High golfer Ethan Yahr to the RedTail family.

Yahr was a 1st team All-WAMAC conference selection in 2017 after firing a 77 at Springbrook Country Club in DeWitt for the conference meet. He finished the year with a 9-hole average of 39 and a season low 35 for nine holes. On 18 holes Yahr average an 82.5 with a low round of 76. In addition to golf, Yahr also competed in football and basketball at Solon High School.

Ethan is the son of Tim and Melissa Yahr of Solon, Iowa and plans to enroll in the two-year business transfer program at Hawkeye Community College.
