Men's Golf Concludes Its 2019 Spring Season

The RedTails placed seventh in the nine-team NJCAA District G Division II Championship at Veenker Memorial Golf Course In Ames, Iowa, May 5-6, with a two-day total score of 654 (323-331). Ethan Yahr carded rounds of 82 and 74 for a school-record total of 156. 

Following Yahr's performance, Hawkeye's lineup included Cory Hockey with an 83-84 (167) and Bo Weissenfluh with a 76-89 (165). Derrick Schorg finished out the meet with a score of 85-85 (170) and Ethan Jaso with a 81-90 (171). The tournament completed the RedTails' 2018-2019 golf schedule.

"I was very proud of how we finished the year at this tournament. I thought Bo Weissenfluh showed tremendous toughness to play through a back injury and was very pleased in Ethan Yahr's play, which resulted in honorable mention recognition," said head coach Micah Destival.
