RedTails Golf Kicks Off Fall Season

GALENA, ILL.–The Hawkeye RedTail Golf team kicked off the fall season at the Eagle Ridge Resort on Wednesday, September 4. The team shot a 321 finishing fourth place out of 13 teams.

Scoring for Hawkeye were Colin Kitson (78), Austin Reynolds (79), Derrick Schorg (82) and Ethan Fox (82). 

"Coach Sutton and I were very pleased with the start to our season given how tight this course was and having no prior experience playing the South Course," said head coach Micah Destival. "We are looking forward to this weekend at Hunter's Ridge for the Klocke Classic."

The RedTails will be back in action Friday and Saturday at the Klocke Classic at Hunter's Ridge in Marion hosted by Mt. Mercy University.
