RedTail Men’s Golf Places Fourth at Eagle Fall Classic to Round Up Fall Season

The 2024 fall season wrapped up for the RedTails at the Amana Colonies G.C. in Amana last week. The men will finish the fall with a 35-17 record. Six individuals were listed on the roster for Hawkeye, including sophomores Kaeden Anderson, Bruno Marti Jimenez, Will Steege, Tristin Sorgenfrey, Mauricio Jimenez, and freshman Graham Bremner. Anderson led the way for the team and the tournament, firing a two-day score of 141 (-3) for the victory. M. Jimenez was second on the team, finishing in 25th place, totaling a two-day score of 157 (+13). Coach Destivial shared his thoughts on the team's finish to the fall season.

            "It was great to finish out the fall seeing Kaeden play a fantastic final round to win by three. He's had a very impressive fall, and we look forward to improving a couple of things over the winter to lower his average a bit more. Mauricio Jimenez also had a good tournament and a particularly strong round one with a 75. Bill and I are excited for where this team can go in the spring."
