The No. 19-ranked Hawkeye men's golf team traveled to Cabot, Arkansas, for the CBC Spring Invite. The weather was fair, with temperatures reaching the mid-70s; however, it was a bit breezy both days.

Sophomore Kaeden Anderson picked up right where he left off from the Missouri tournament, shooting a three-round total of 221 (+5) to place second overall. The RedTails' second-place finisher was sophomore Mauricio Jimenez, who shot 235 (+19) for his three rounds. Head coach Micah Destival is pleased to see the teams' progress through the first two tournaments.

"It was fun to play another new course and have good weather for a couple of days," says Destival. "Kaeden Anderson picked up right where he left off from last week, shooting 72-81-68 to finish in 2nd place. The team did good things again and feel like we are close to getting back to where we were at in the fall."
