RedTails Bowling Hires Well Known Local Talent Roxie Bush

Roxann Bush is the new assistant bowling coach at Hawkeye Community College.

 

Bush has become a bowling legend throughout her storied career. Bush has claimed 8 women's state bowling titles and has represented the state of Iowa in the US Open. Bush is a member of the Greater Cedar Valley Bowling Association where she is a 5-time champion. She was also the first woman in the Greater Cedar Valley Bowling Association to ever bowl an 800 series. Bush was inducted into the local Hall of Fame in 1997 and the Iowa Women's State Bowling Hall of Fame in 1998. Bush was also honored in 2015, when the Greater Cedar Valley Bowling Association named a yearly award after her. She currently still bowls in many local, state, national and 50/50 tournaments.
