RedTails Soccer Hires Leo Driscoll As New Assistant Coach

WATERLOO-One of the newest additions to the RedTail Soccer coaching staff is assistant coach, Leo Driscoll. 

Driscoll started his college career at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) where he graduated with an Associates of Arts Degree and competed in soccer at the varsity level. He then continued his education at Missouri Valley College. Driscoll completed a double major receiving his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and another in Psychology. 

Driscoll's coaching experience began in 2014 as a student assistant on the Men's Missouri Valley College JV squad. Once graduated he moved back to Mason City, IA to become the assistant coach of the men's soccer team at NIACC. In 2017, Driscoll built the NIACC Women's Soccer program from scratch in the classroom as well as on the pitch. His teams accumulated GPA was 3.3 and he produced the best season the program has seen in the 2018-2019 year. In addition to starting the women's program, he was also the head coach of the men's soccer team in 2018 where he has created a winning culture and produced the highest cumulative GPA for the men's team at 3.0.
