Men’s Soccer Team Dominates Scott Community College

BETTENDORF–The RedTails left Bettendorf victorious Tuesday, beating Scott Community College 8-1 in convincing fashion.

Offensively it was one of their best performances of the season, as they scored four goals each half in a dominant outing for the team.

Jake Cawkwell, Kai Smalley, and Robert Lodge all scored in the first half, and teammates Niko Djuric and Nga Reh complimented the team with a pair of goals in the second half that put the nail in the coffin.

Along with his goal, Kai Smalley had an impressive three assists, while his teammate Sam White also added three assists himself in the outing. Robert Lodge had himself a day and was wreaking havoc on the field, tallying up a hat trick throughout the matchup.

"The boys were great today," said coach Robbie Carrol. "We moved the ball around very well and it was hard for Scott Community to keep up with us."

The RedTails hope to continue rolling this Saturday, as they will host North Iowa Area Community College during Sophomore Night.
