The RedTail Men's Soccer team took the 4-3 win in overtime against the Northeast Community College Hawks in Norfolk, Nebraska, on Tuesday, April 27.
The Hawks were first on the scoreboard with a goal in the 14th minute. The RedTails weren't behind for long, when Keith Gakaka utilized a pass from Sam White to tie the game 1-1. Will Ansah pulled the RedTails ahead 2-1 with a solo goal before the end of the first half.
The Hawks added two more goals to start the second half and the RedTails trailed 2-3. Jayce Berger found the back of the net in the 84th minute, tying the game 3-3 and leading the teams to overtime.
The blue and orange controlled the game during an intense overtime. Gakaka found a pass from Alex Harris, leading the RedTails to their 4-3 win.
