RedTail Men’s Soccer Takes Another Tie
The RedTails traveled to Iowa Central on Saturday, September 30, to compete against the Tritons.
Both teams had great defense and kept each other from getting the ball in the net. The RedTails started slow and then began to get into a groove, but still could not score any points. There were a few yellow cards for both teams and the game ended in a tie 0-0.
Head coach Chris Rennie had some positive words after the game.
"We're definitely disappointed to only come away with a tie," he said. "We started the game slow but really grew into it, especially in the second half when we created some fantastic chances, but unfortunately couldn't convert them today. The guys are tired, as it has been a really busy few weeks, but now we get a chance to rest and recover before we play Saturday, which is much needed right now."
The RedTails next match up is on Saturday, October 7, against Western Iowa Tech, starting at 3:30pm.
