RedTail Men’s Soccer Takes Third Tie Of The Season

RedTail Men’s Soccer Takes Third Tie Of The Season

The RedTails went up against Western Iowa Tech on Saturday, October 7, tying 0-0.

Both teams played great defense on Saturday, making it difficult for either team to score. There were a handful of yellow cards made between both teams and lots of effort to score a point but none were made. This is the RedTails third tie of the season and they have two games left for the 2023 year.

Head coach Chris Rennie had some positive feedback after Saturday's match.

"Over the last two games the guys have played well," he said. "We look very sound defensively, our midfield have been working hard and being creative, we're just not getting that bit of luck in the final third, but certainly not from a lack of trying and work from our attackers. The good thing is we are creating chances, I fully believe that the goals will come. Everything we worked on this week, the guys were able to implement it in the game, it is not the result we were aiming for but I'm pleased with many aspects of this performance."

The RedTails next match will be on Wednesday, October 11, at Southeastern Community College, starting at 3:30pm.
