Vlademar Overby-Poulsen has recently signed with RedTail Men’s Soccer

Vlademar Overby-Poulsen of Natalie Zahles Gymnasium has recently signed his letter of intent to continue his athletic and academic career at Hawkeye Community College. 

Overby-Poulsen has been playing soccer since he was four years old. He started very young and has loved the sport ever since. His position is a goalkeeper. 

"I am excited to come and play soccer for Hawkeye because of the high level of soccer at the college, and playing in a very competitive league," Overby-Poulsen said. "I am also excited to play against some of the best teams in the division and the nation, as well as a great opportunity to develop myself soccer-wise."

The aspect that he is most looking forward to is training, learning, and developing. Overby-Poulsen believes that Hawkeye's coaches will help him do exactly that. 

Overby-Poulsen has had many great experiences in playing soccer. He said, "My greatest football achievement is probably reaching the Danish Cup Final." However, he is excited to see where he can go while playing at Hawkeye. 

Overby-Poulsen will be studying Marketing Management while attending Hawkeye.
