RedTail Men’s Soccer Team Takes a Win against Upper-Iowa

FAYETTE–RedTail men's soccer team won against Upper-Iowa with a final score of 3-2 on April 10, 2024. It was a beautiful day for a soccer game, so the men really enjoyed playing.

Shimon Lofemba scored the first goal, and Isaac Semini assisted him to get the point. Isaac Semini came back and scored the second goal, and was assisted by Anders Lauirdsen. And the third goal was scored solely by Shimon Lofemba. 

"We started the game slow and we could see it had been months since the group had played a competitive game. We were thrown some new challenges from a very good team in the first half," said head coach Chris Rennie. However, the men made some fantastic adjustments and were able to come back together in the second half. "Coming from behind to get a great result on the road should show that the mentality of the group is moving in the right direction," said Rennie. 

The men will be traveling to Oskaloosa to play against William-Penn on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Good luck RedTails!
