RedTail Men's Soccer Team Competes Against Mt.Mercy

CEDAR RAPIDS—On April 21, The RedTail Men's Soccer team traveled to Cedar Rapids to play against Mt. Mercy. Although they lost 3-1, it was a great competition against such a strong program.

The first twenty minutes were a big adjustment for us to adapt to the physicality and speed of the game. However, once we did, we were able to compete very well and gave the opposition a hard fixture. Magnus Jensen scored the goal, assisted by Shimon Lofemba.

Head Coach Chris Rennie said, "Today was really good for our guys as this gives us an expectation of how we need to approach our own training environment so that we can really set that high standard and not need to adapt to the opposition, the good things we learned is that our team has other levels still that we can achieve and that leaves things set up to be an exciting place to come back to in August."
