RedTails win against Northwest 3-1

The RedTails Men's Soccer team won against Northwest Iowa Community College 3-1 on Saturday, October 12.

The first half of the game was where all the action happened. Northwest scored the first goal of the game and took the lead, but they weren't able to maintain it. Anders Lauridsen, assisted by Shimon Lafemba, scored the first goal for the RedTails and tied the scores. Lauridsen, once again assisted by Lafemba, again scored and took the lead for the RedTails. Ahmed Dosso, with another assist from Lafemba, scored the last goal of the game.

"So much better today, the guys really showed the effort to implement the changes we have been asking of them," said head coach Christopher Rennie. "All round we had a higher level performance,  from the players who started the game to the players who came off the bench, everyone performed to better levels. After the run we have been on, the team showed great character to come back from a goal down and a great way to honor our sophomores."

The RedTails will play against Southeastern Community College on Wednesday, October 16.
