Ivy Korir signs with RedTail Women’s Track and Field

MOI'S BRIDGE, KENYA–Ivy Korir, of Kerotet Girls Secondary School in Kenya, has recently signed her letter of intent to continue her athletic and academic career at Hawkeye Community College. 

Korir has been running since she was 15 years old, and she has been running ever since. She participates in the 3000-meter dash and has run a time of 10:10. 

She is excited to join the team and says that she has always wanted to attend Hawkeye. "I am excited to be part of the team and the Hawkeye family," said Korir. 

"We are thrilled to have Ivy joining us," said head coach Scott Roberts. "She will make our team nationally relevant in XC/Indoor Track and Outdoor Track."

Korir will be majoring in accounting while attending Hawkeye.
