Welcome Vance Burnham to the RedTails Men’s Track and Field Team

Germantown, Wisconsin - Hawkeye Community College is thrilled to announce the addition of Vance Burnham to its Men's Track and Field team. Vance, a standout athlete from Germantown High School, brings a remarkable blend of talent and determination to the RedTails roster.

Vance Burnham has made significant strides in track and field over the past three years, focusing on events such as the 200m and 400m sprints, as well as the long jump. His dedication to the sport became evident during his sophomore year of high school when he first started running at the age of 15. Despite being relatively new to track and field, Vance has already achieved notable success, including participating in the state championship and contributing to setting a new school record in the 4x200 relay, where his team placed 4th overall.

"I am looking forward to continuing running track and field at the collegiate level. Track and field is still a new sport for me as I have only run since my sophomore year of high school," shared Vance. "My junior year was one of my favorite memories so far. Going to the state championship with some of my best friends and placing 4th overall in the 4x200, which was also a new school record. I am more than excited to make new friends and new memories at Hawkeye."

In addition to his athletic pursuits, Vance will be pursuing studies in Industrial Automation Technology at Hawkeye Community College.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Vance Burnham as he begins his journey at Hawkeye Community College. We wish him the best of luck in his athletic and academic endeavors.
