Jess Cornick Signs with RedTail Cross Country

MASON CITY–Jess Cornick of Mason City High School has recently signed his letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Hawkeye Community College.

Although Cornick has only been running cross country for two years, he comes in proving to be a great asset to the team after competing at the state meets in both cross country and track. Cornick was also crowned winner of the IAC North Conference meet last season.

"I am really excited to run at Hawkeye because of the great coaching staff, to meet new people on the team, and to be able to keep on running," says Cornick.

Cornick plans to major in Nursing while attending Hawkeye Community College.
