RedTail Shooters Rewrite Record Book in Fall Opener

WATERLOO–The Hawkeye RedTails Sports Shooting team began their fall season on September 15 by setting new team records on their way to a victory against Southeastern Community College.

The RedTails win set a team record of 490 birds, with Braxton Childers shooting 100 straight for a new men's record. Jacob Kaisand (99), Carter Farley (99), Elise Davis (97), and Christian Haight (95) rounded out the top five.

Childers, Farley, and Kaisand placed first, second, and third, respectively among the men.

In the women's matchup, Davis placed second, with Courtney Prochaska (93) placing fourth.
