Sports Shooting Capitalizes on Strong Performance
Hawkeye Community College's sports shooting team had an excellent performance against North Iowa Area Community College on Saturday, October 13, in the RedTails' final event of the fall.
The RedTails' men were sensational, earning five of the top six spots on the leaderboard. Patrick Kuper and Braxton Childers turned in scores of 98 to tie for first place. Carter Farley followed with a 97, while Jacob Kaisand had a 96.
Hawkeye's women's squad was carried by Elise Davis and Natalie Koepke, who each shot 37 out of 40 to share second-place honors.
The RedTails' sports shooting team resumes competition in the spring.
