RedTails Out Shoot Southeastern Community College
WEST BURLINGTON–RedTail Sports Shooting traveled to West Burlington over the weekend to compete against Southeastern Community College, coming home with men's and women's victories and an overall RedTail win, 471-464.
In the women's division, Brianna Heltibridle had another impressive showing, winning the women's title with a high score of 90. Natalie Koepke and Amelia Vetter were right behind her, with scores of 88 and 87.
The men also looked very impressive. Braxton Childers was mere perfect again, posting a score of 98, which was enough to claim the males individual title. Carter Farley came right behind him with a score of 94, enough to claim second place.
Head coach Troy Emley was satisfied with his teams performance.
"We fought through many challenges, earning a win on the road against a quality opponent," Emley said. "Our trio of female student-athletes all earned success for their efforts as well."
The RedTails look to continue their dominance this Saturday, September 21, when they will host Northwest Iowa Community College.
