
Male Athlete of the Week - Chase Bindl
RedTail Sports Shooting student-athlete Chase Bindl has been named Scheels Male Athlete of the Week for his outstanding performance over the weekend.
Chase set a new school record in Sporting Clays with an impressive score of 93 targets, earning 1st Place for his performance. He also achieved the highest score for the event and was instrumental in contributing to the Hawkeye RedTails' school record-breaking team score. In Skeet, he broke 98 out of 100 targets, achieving a remarkable 75 straight, and secured 2nd Place after a close shoot-off.
"Chase Bindl had a dominating performance this past weekend in Skeet and Sporting Clays. We are glad Chase made the trip from Spring Green, WI, to be a Hawkeye RedTail; we look forward to his future performances as he continues his first year campaign," said head coach Troy Emley.
Chase is part of three new school records: the Skeet team score, the Sporting Clays team score, and the Sporting Clays individual men's score.
