
RedTails beat Indian Hills in Sports Shooting compmetition
The RedTails Sports Shooting Team won their competition against Indian Hills Community College on Friday, October 4.
The RedTails won with a total of 481 targets against Indian Hills' 458. The Athletes who had their scores counted were Chase Bindl (100), Cole Slabaugh (99), Brenna Leitner (98), Colton Crooks (93), and Elliott Brincks (91).
Chase Bindl earned the first place medal in the men's individual competition with 100 straight. Colton Crooks earned the second place medal with 99 targets. Brenna Leitner earned the first place medal in the women's competition with 98 targets. Lydia Covert earned the second place medal with 89 targets.
Here is coach Troy Emley had to say about the competition,
"We did really well today; some of the traveling squad were not happy with their performances, we fought for every target. This competition will help our mental game for later in the season.", voiced Coach Emley. "We look forward to our next opportunity to compete on October 12th against Kirkwood Eagles (Trap-Singles)."
