Female Athlete of the Week-Dailyn Marine

RedTail Softball student-athlete Dailyn Marine has been named Scheels Female Athlete of the Week for her performance against Northeast Community College on April 27th.

Dailyn had an outstanding performance against Northeast Community College. She came in big in the second game and had three RBI's and hit her best she has all year. In game 1 Dailyn was 1-3 at the plate, with one run scored and in game 2 she was 2-3 at the plate, had three runs batted in and one run scored, one walk, and one stolen base.

"Dailyn had her best hitting performance of the year on Saturday, said head coach Courtney Calkins. "She was seeing the ball well and had three RBI's to help keep our team in the game. She also did a great job behind the plate, being a wall for us, and keeping balls in front of her. She has put a lot of hard work in during this year, and I am thrilled to see it being paid off."
