For her academics, Wehling has been on the honor roll since freshman year. She is also Valedictorian of the class of 2025 at Wapsie Valley. She also spends her time volunteering for the Wapsie Valley Athletic Booster Club, Chickasaw County Extension Office, Bremer County Cattlemen’s concessions stand, and at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Hailey had this to say about choosing Hawkeye “I am so excited to come play softball for Hawkeye. The culture of Hawkeye’s softball program seems very fun and Courtney Calkins seems like an amazing coach. I can’t wait to meet all the girls and am very excited to create new friendships and continue the sport I love.”

“Hailey is an all around student-athlete. She always puts her best foot forward both in the classroom and on the field. I can’t wait to watch her grow during her time at Hawkeye!” said Courtney Calkins.
