Female Athlete of the Week-Ariana Chesmore

RedTail Bowling student-athlete Ariana Chesmore has been named Scheels Female Athlete of the Week for her performance at the NJCAA National Championships in Lansing, Michigan from February 29th to March 2nd.

NJCAA National Championship Ariana won doubles with her partner (Brianna Ross), as well as finished 5th in the All-American standings. Ariana scored 190, 160, and 191 in doubles; 201, 180, and 166 in singles; 207, 200, and 168 for Team Set One; and 193, 158, and 220 for Team Set Two. She had a total of 2234, averaging 186.2 for her 12 games.

"Ariana was rock solid all week in her contribution of getting us to a 2nd place finish for our national championship," said head coach Roger Taylor.

Chesmore is originally from Palo, IA.
