RedTail Women’s Golf Team Receives Third Place at the Waterloo Intercollegiate

WATERLOO–The RedTail women's golf team competed in the Waterloo Intercollegiate on April 19-20, 2024, and they received third place overall. It was a cold and windy day for a golf tournament, but the women played very well considering the weather conditions. 

Head coach Micah Destival said, "The women did a lot of good things again in the tournaments considering the weather played a major factor in scoring."

For the individual scores, Chase Doland had some amazing scores where she received third place overall. She had a total score of 170. In the first round she got 88 and the second round with 82. Bailey Nuss received 10th place with 187. Her rounds were 98 and 89. Libby Larkin came in 12th place in rounds consisting of 98 and 95. Her total score was 193. Lauren Funk was not far behind in 13th place with 198. She had rounds of 102 and 96. 

Destival said, "The last home tournament of the year is on Monday, April 22, at Fox Ridge, and then on to the District Tournament in Kansas next week." Amazing job this weekend ladies, and good luck at the next tournament.
