RedTail Women’s Golf Team Receive Third Place at the RedTail Spring Shootout

DIKE–On April 22, 2024, the RedTail Women's Golf Team hosted the RedTail Spring Shootout at Fox Ridge Golf Course where they received third place against the four teams that were competing. The women's total score was 374. Head coach Micah Destival thought the women played very well considering the weather conditions. He said, "The women did a nice job playing in some gusty winds at Fox Ridge."

Chase Doland was on top of the leaderboard for our RedTails where she tied for third overall in the tournament. She shot a total of 85. Libby Larkin was our next Redtail and she golfed a 94; this gave her 18th place. Lauren Funk was right behind Larkin in 19th place with a score of 95. Bailey Nuss came in 24th place where she shot 100.

As the season is coming to an end for our Women's RedTail Golf Team, they are thrilled to continue to compete in these next couple of tournaments. The women will be traveling to Dodge City in Kansas this week on April 29 for the Plains District Tournament. Coach Destival said, "It will be fun to see a new course."
