Female Student-Athlete of the Year-Lauren Funk

This year's Female Student-Athlete of the Year award went to Lauren Funk. She has truly made her mark at Hawkeye Community College, showcasing exceptional talent and dedication across multiple disciplines. Lauren embodies the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie, always ready to support her fellow teammates and lend a helping hand whenever needed. With her remarkable talent and dedication, she has achieved the prestigious title of two-time All-American in bowling. Throughout her time as a RedTail, she has left an incredible mark on both the bowling and golf teams. During her time as a RedTail, she has earned her Human Resource Management Degree and is finishing up her accounting degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.8 GPA.
