Macael Bear Signs with RedTail Men’s Wrestling

TAMA–Macael Bear of South Tama County High School has recently signed his letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Hawkeye Community College.

"I'm thrilled to be on the first men's Hawkeye wrestling team because it's a dream come true! I'm most excited about making history, showing what I can do, and hopefully breaking the lineup," says Bear.

The future middle-weight RedTail will be a significant addition to the upcoming fall roster as he has reached a variety of milestones including 100 career wins and being a two-time district champion.

Bear plans to pursue a degree in Heating and Air Conditioning during his time at Hawkeye Community College.
