RedTail Women’s Soccer Season Comes to End

RedTail Women’s Soccer Season Comes to End

The RedTails traveled to Fort Dodge on Tuesday, October 25, to compete in the Region 11 Semifinals Tournament.

This was a long game that consisted of bad weather and lightning delays. The RedTails put up a strong fight, but the match ended in a 3-0 loss for the RedTails. Overall the RedTails had a great Fall 2023 season. Their ending record is 9-3-3 and two winning streaks throughout the season. The RedTails also made 56 goals total and only had one red card the whole season.

Head coach Christopher Rennie had some positive words after a fun and successful season.

"The girls stayed true to the team they have been all season," he said. "I love their team spirit and passion that they show every time they step onto the field. This game came down to fine margins which unfortunately didn't go our way, but I am so proud of this group of players and I feel very fortunate to be their coach. There are so many positives from this season that we will focus on and not dwell on one result. The work for next year starts now."
