Jil Lehmann has signed with RedTail Women’s Soccer

Jill Lehmann has recently signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Hawkeye Community College. 

Lehmann has been playing soccer since she was a little girl, and she didn't start playing for a club team when she was 12 years old. Lehmann played for a club team in Switzerland until the end of the summer in 2023. The position she plays is left back. 

Lehmann said, "I've been excited about this moment for a long time. I am ready and excited to start a new chapter in my life at Hawkeye. As an international player, it's a great opportunity to develop myself both as a soccer player and as a person." 

Lehmann will be studying either graphic design or education while attending Hawkeye. And she is very excited about how she can grow at Hawkeye. Lehmann said, "I am particularly excited about the new team, where we can grow together and celebrate successes. I am very happy to be a part of RedTails and Hawkeye."
