RedTails Women's Soccer Competes In Spring Game at Wartburg

Waverly—The RedTails Women's Soccer traveled to Waverly on April 7 to play a spring game against the Wartburg College Knights. However, heavy rain made conditions unsuitable.

RedTails won the game 2-0 against the Knights. Freshman Lauren Mercer and Sophomore Emer Mcauliffe scored the goals in this contest.

Head Coach Christopher Rennie commented, "We were very proud of the ladies today to come here and get such positive results shows the progress the program is making. The weather and playing conditions were very challenging for both teams but our players certainly rose to that change and didn't shy away achieving the performance they wanted."

The RedTails will be back in action on April 10, 2024, at Upper Iowa in Fayette. Go RedTails!
