Woman's Soccer Team Competes Against Mt.Mercy

CEDAR RAPIDS–On April 21, The RedTail Women's Soccer team traveled to Cedar Rapids to play against Mt. Mercy. They tied 1-1, with a goal scored by Morgan Aikey. 

Head Coach Chris Rennie commented, "Today, we were not at our best, but I always feel that a sign of a good team is to keep finding ways to get results on those days." This group again shows why the character they have is so important. It has been a very successful spring for the group, and it really continues to lay the foundations for next fall.

The sophomore class played a big part in this, and it could not have been done without commitment and drive. Coach Rennie shares, "I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with these ladies for two years, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for them. They are 100% leaving this program better than they found it and should be extremely proud of what they have helped to build!" Thank you, Sophomores, and Best Luck!
