RedTails Track and Field Signs Drake Qualifier Allison Flanscha

WATERLOO- The RedTail Track and Field team has picked up another big signing from Drake Relays qualifier Allison Flanscha. 

As a senior at Cedar Falls High, Flanscha competed in track and field, and was also on the dance team. At the Drake Relays, she qualified in throwing competitions and was also first and second team all conference. On top of her athletic success, Flanscha is also involved in the youth group. 

After graduating from Hawkeye, she plans to transfer to a university to further her education. Coach Tyler Mulder spoke highly of the new signing. 

"We really Allison's speed and abilities to thrive in the Region XI," Coach Mulder stated. "She will work with Coach Williams to sharpen her tools with all of the throwing events."

She is the daughter of Jake and Jaime Flanscha and she plans to attend Hawkeye Community College for two years to study Graphic Communications.
