Hudson Powers RedTails’ Sweep of NIACC
Megan Hudson had 20 kills to power the No. 11-ranked Hawkeye Community College volleyball team past conference opponent North Iowa Area Community College on Wednesday, 25-21, 26-24, and 25-16.
Hudson's performance included a .381 kill percentage. It was the third time she has reached 20 kills in a match this season. Teammate Paige Eiffler contributed 11 kills as the RedTails improved to 16-5 overall and 6-1 in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.
On the defensive side, the RedTails were led by Hudson's 16 digs and two blocks. Haylee Keune and Leah Carter followed with 14 and 13 digs, respectively.
Up Next: The RedTails will travel to Norfolk, Neb., to take on Northeast Community College on Wednesday, October 17.
