The RedTails took on Northeast Community College on Tuesday, August 29, falling 3-0. 

The RedTails played a tough match against the Hawks. The first set was a little rocky, leaving the RedTails to fall 25-17. The RedTails were bouncing back in the second set and giving a good fight but ended up falling in a close set 26-24. The last set was another close one but the Hawks took the win (25-21), giving them the overall win of the match. 

"Northeast came at us really aggressively behind the service line and put us out of system the majority of the time," said head coach Tyann Wolfensperger. "It's tough to make big plays out of system and we have some work to do before a big weekend."

The RedTails will play this weekend in the Iowa Central Invite. The first two matches are Friday, September 1, against Illinois Central College at 4:45pm and Bismarck State College at 6:30pm. The following day, Saturday, September 2, the RedTails will take on Central Community College-Columbus at 9:30am and Neosho County Community College at 1:00pm.
