The RedTails traveled to Ottumwa, Iowa, on Monday, September 25, taking a loss against the Indian Hills Warriors 3-0.
The RedTails went up against the strong Indian Hills team. The first set was a struggle, as the Warriors were in the lead and became unstoppable, winning (25-12). The RedTails had a little more breakthrough in the second set, making it a closer set, but with the Warriors still taking the win (25-23). The third set consisted of a lot of good offense from the Indian Hills Warriors, giving them the last win (25-11).
Head coach Tyann Wolfensperger had some positive words after a tough match up.
"We fought hard in the second set and just fell short in the first and third sets," she said. "We couldn't find rhythm defensively."
The RedTails next match will be Wednesday, September 27, against Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, starting at 7:00pm.
