RedTail Volleyball Falls Against DMACC
The RedTails went up against the DMACC Bears at home on Wednesday, October 4, taking the loss (3-1).
In the first set the RedTails came out strong with high energy and swept the Bears for the first set win (25-7) with their strong offense and kills. The second set was a DMACC win (25-19), as the RedTails didn't have that same energy they did in the first set. Both the third and the fourth set were close but the RedTails lost both against the #16 Bears. The RedTails lost the third set 25-20 and the fourth set 25-23.
Head coach Tyann Wolfensperger had some positive words after the game.
"We came out very strong and high energy in the first set", she said. "We battled hard the rest of the match, but just fell short a few points each set. I'm really proud of how the girls played and excited to see our great potential moving forward."
The RedTails next match up will be on Saturday, October 7, against North Dakota State College, starting at 11:00am.
