RedTail Volleyball Takes Loss Against Iowa Central

The RedTails played against the Tritons on Thursday, October 12, losing 3-1 in a tough battle. 

The first three sets were very close and the RedTails put up a fight. The Tritons took the win for the first set (19-25). The second set was also close and ended 19-25 with a Triton win over the RedTails. The third set was another close set, and ended in a RedTail win (25-20). The Tritons came in full force in the fourth set, taking the overall win (13-25). 

Assistant coach Emily Clapp had some positive words after the game. 

"Overall it was a tough battle, the girls played great as a team and fought hard," she said. "We have another tough one coming up this weekend on the road again, but there's still a lot of great things to come the rest of the season!"

The RedTails next match will be at Heartland Community College on Saturday, October 14, starting at 1:00pm.
