RedTail Volleyball Sweeps Tigers at Last Home Game
The RedTails played a strong match against Marshalltown on Wednesday, October 18, taking the win 3-0.
The first set was a close one with the points going back and forth between the teams, ending in a RedTail win (25-22). In the second set, the RedTails kicked their offense in full force and swept the Tigers 25-19. The third and final set ended in another RedTail win 25-20, taking the overall victory of the night.
Assistant coach Emily Clapp had some positive words after a successful season.
"This was a great win and we got to celebrate all of our sophomores," she said. "I'm proud of how the girls performed and can't wait for our last conference game next Wednesday against Kirkwood!"
The RedTails last match of the season will be on Wednesday, October 25, at Kirkwood, starting at 6:30pm.
