RedTail Volleyball Takes Loss in Last Regular Season Game

The RedTails traveled to Cedar Rapids on Wednesday, October 25, to play against the Kirkwood Eagles. 

This match was intense and close, as the RedTails played great offense and defense. The first set ended in a RedTails win (25-21). In the second set, the RedTails didn't show as much strong energy and the Eagles ended up taking the (16-25). The RedTails brought back their great energy and defense for the third set, but fell short in a close set (22-25). The last set was also a close set, but the Eagles took the win(19-25), winning the match.

Head coach Tyann Wolfensperger had some positive words after the game. 

"We played a really tough first set, but couldn't terminate offensively during the second, third, and fourth sets," she said. "The girls did a great job defensively!"

The RedTails will begin their post season play on Wednesday, November 1, at Iowa Central, starting at 7:00pm.
